Handling
Stir – if necessary – before use.
Mineral flakes gel is ready for use and should be applied pure or mixed with acrylic colours with a pallet knife onto a greaseless painting ground. Ideal in mixtures with Schmincke acrylic translucent colours: mixtures achieve especial bright metallic effects.
If coats thicker than 1,0 cm are required, these should be built in stages.
The time for drying depends on the thickness of the surface and can last from several minutes up to several hours.
Can be overpainted with acrylic colours after getting completely dry.
The product can be diluted with water, but dries up water-insoluble.
Please clean tools as soon as possible with water or water and soap. Just dried acrylic colours can be removed with brush cleaner 50051 / 50052.
Please don´t use the product below temperatures under 10 °C object- and room-temperatures.
Close immediately after use.
Store in a cool and dry place.
Protect from frost.
Individual pre-tests are required.
